24"x16" Framed Print - Limited edition of 50

Twmpa is the Welsh name for the mountain you can see in the background. In English it is call "Lord Hereford's Knob"!  October 2010.

When I first saw this Ash Tree a few years ago it looked like this with a hollow core. Over two successive winters the tree has been blown down by storms.

I make my prints using  a cotton-based watercolour paper that emphasises the subtle colours and textures of the grasses, bark and other natural elements in the scene.  The frame is a glassless wooden "floatframe". There is a small space around the mounted print which makes the print appear to "float" within the frame.
